There, now that I had a little bit of fun, let me tell you why!

I just watched his film of “Barefoot Country Girl” for the third time. Each time i watch it , it gets better and better. I highly recommend it. It is a good heart warming, Maine made movie with all Maine talent in it. Keeping in mind that it is a no budget/low budget movie, I think WOW!!! What if he had the funding to do it Hollywood style. Naw…..It would have taken away the simplicity of the downhome taste in my opinion.

The music in it is all origianal tunes by all Maine musicians/song writers and they are worth the listen. The future plans, so Larry has told me,is a full series of music cd’s of the tunes writen for the movie and a documentary on how this movie was done. All the money brought in on this movie goes the the Countryfolk Music Theater Youth Scholarship each summer. He has sold several and is very happy with the outcome. You know….not everyone can say they have writen/directed and produced a movie. I am proud to have him as my friend.

The movie “Barefoot Country Girl” written and produced by Maine’s own Larry Bisbee is ready for sale. It is a full length film with an all country music volunteer cast of Maine musicians.

As the writer of the theme song “Barefoot Country Girl”, with the request and approval and input of Larry Bisbee, I asked him about my singing this song where ever I might be singing and this is his reply.

“I hope you sing it everywhere and be sure to tell them that it’s the theme song from our music scholarship feature-length movie that can be purchased thru you or me.. $15.95 plus $2.00 shippng in Maine only..   For the youth scholarships as well as for the recognition  of some real singers and writers, we are hoping this movie sells nicely. I understand also that later on there is also to be a sound track out with all the songs from the movie.

Well that is all I have time to write for now. I have had a very full summer and fall is here now so things will calm down I think so I will be able to keep up on this site.
