Thanksgiving is soon coming . I am thinking of what I am thankful for. Sometimes it is hard to think of such things. Then I think of what my life could be like and I am ever-so-thankful. When I look around and I see people in wheel chairs, on crutches for life, or blind or handicapped in other ways I think to myself…”my life is not so bad. ” As a matter of fact my life is good. I am poor and yet I am so very rich. Compared to the world as a whole I am very wealthy. I eat good food and not termits….I am warm enough so not to get frostbite or death. I am healthy enough to take care of my daily needs such as dressing, bathing, preparing food, driving a car, things like that. So many people can not do so much. It is sad. I have survived much emotional pain in my life as well as physical illness and I am much stronger because of it all. Yesterdays trials are todays memories.
I have two children whom I adore even in trying times. I would not trade either of them for the world. Altho we may not always agree on things and they like to give me a hard time in life, I am proud of them both.
