Got to love Maine weather. Being a Mainer I do. Although I no longer go out and play in the snow or go snow sledding or ice fishing, it is still a pretty time of year. I can say that about each of the four seasons.
Being one who does not like the cold however, limits my activities. Today I have the curtains opened to let the sun shine brightly into my life and I am thinking…….DOUGHNUTS !!!
They sure would taste good with my coffee. I even have sour milk in the fridge! Why let it go to waste? Oh weight….it will go to waist! (snicker)
Being over forty has its pluses. I can gain extra weight to fill in the wrinkles. Come on now…don’t argue with me. Let me fool myself for a few more years. Ha HA
Last few evenings I have been playing on my banjo. I tried being disciplined with learning it the “proper way” I, however hard I try, just can not conform to structure. I am to darn “free spirited!” Plain and simple. That’s me….plain and simple. Do I have to spell it out for you ?HeeHee. Being as simple as I am hinders my skills…or lack of. I tell you what tho….I have fun playing it MY way! I never expect to play in competitions or actually before a live audience (I have played in front of some dead beets tho…Hee Hee again…..another joke!)
Ok..Ok…seriously now…I think I will go make some doughnuts. I found a new wrinkle this morning. They are coming in faster than grey hairs on a grey hound bus! LOL
